What is the DEA?
The DEA (/info DEA) is a commodity exchange modeled after The Goods that only deals in herbs.
Who is the DEA?
The dea is founded by TheDude in tale2. The name means "Dudes Egyptian Archive" and is also the name of the US Drug Enforcement Agency.
Why use the DEA? we already have the goods!
The DEA only deals in herbs. this allows herb values and prices to only be relative to themselves, and not other items. If you give herbs to the DEA, you are going to be able to withdraw herbs later.
Why use the DEA at all?
Not everyone has the time to go foraging for the many many hours it can take to collect a wide variety of herbs. Finding herbs on the private market can be extremely difficult. and their value can be hard to determine. at the very least, the DEA should provide a self-correcting relative price list for herbs, which would be very useful to egypt as a whole. by storing your herbs in the DEA, you know you will be able to withdraw a proportionally equal amount at any time. If you have a positive account balance with us, you will always have the herbs you need. right when you need them.
How is the DEA different from the goods?
Very little! in fact, we use the same pricing model, the same trading procedures, and even a sucpisiously familiar website based on the excellent software that has been developed for the goods.
Is there a fee?
No! The dea is a not-for-profit service supported by its wonderful staff and customers. Egypt as a whole benefits from both the pricelist and the easier availability of herbs.
Do you need tellers?
Always! But please dont be offended if you dont get accepted as a teller. Security is of the upmost importance with a service like this, and tellers are chosen based on a wide variety of personal criteria. If there is no current demand for tellers, your name will stay on the list for future contact.
